About Clara

Clara Sutton is an independent fantasy author known for writing adventurous, romantic fantasy inspired by the books and mythology she grew up on as a lifelong fantasy lover. She writes for readers who enjoy romantasy, slow-burn relationships, and rich worlds rooted in wonder and discovery.

She is the author of multiple fantasy novels, including the In Shadows series, the standalone fantasy romance Heirs of War, and the ongoing A World of Lost Magic, a globe-trotting adventure following a young archaeologist as she discovers just how much magic was really lost to history and how much truly remains. 

After eight years living in Los Angeles, Clara has moved back to Chicago to be closer to family, but still visits with her friends in LA when she can. When not writing, she can usually be found reading, crafting, or playing Dungeons and Dragons.

Clara published under Hooded Man Media 2021 from 2021 to 2023 and is thankful for all their help and resources. However, she now publishes under her very own imprint, Lonely Fox Press.
